Another early morning, bus over to the airport, check in and try to change our Taiwan and Korean money into Chinese Yaun. No luck with the Taiwan dollars so we have to wait until we land in China. Once there we found they would not take Taiwan dollars. Apparently relations are not the greatest between the two countries. The Beijing Airport is too small for its current passenger load and they are building new runways and two massive terminals for the 2008 Olympics. Guards and buses met our plane. After we got through customs, we met May, our guide in China, who took us to the hotel. Lots of traffic here with bicycles running on the side of the road and often intermixed with the cars. Weather here is sunny and warm but hazy. We checked into the hotel and Jerry went off to interview a possible China distributor. Later that evening, they took us to a Chinese restaurant in a Mall.
