An early morning wake-up call ended a too short night’s sleep (although neither of us slept well -maybe pre-Japan nerves) and then off in the dark to the airport. An easy checkin and then time in the lounge for some cereal. The flight to Seoul was 30 minutes late in taking off, cutting into our one hour transfer time for our flight to Japan. All the way to Seoul Jerry was worried about the luggage not making the Japan flight. In the end, they made up 10 minutes giving us a better feeling about seeing our luggage that night. On the flight to Japan it was the first time either of us had set upstairs in a 747. Quite enjoyable. The picture was taken before we tried the Korean style dinner meal of Bibimpab which was rice, veggies and a spinach soup. Definitely an experience. When we got to Japan we just followed the crowd through customs and to the baggage area. Our luggage did make it. Next was changing money and taking a late bus to the hotel. We are staying by the airport so we can go back and pick up our Rail Pass on Easter Sunday.
