Back to Sydney

Got up, packed and got an early start to Sydney thanks to Daylight saving time going off.  We are now 7 hours behind California.  Drove into Sydney and tried to locate an Information Center.  In our 3 weeks of traveling we had forgotten how crowded a big city was.  Couldn’t park by one Center due to a street market, and the other Center in the city was closed kiosk.  Gave up and moved into the nearby Travel Lodge.
Went to see the Elizabeth Bay House which was built in 1835-1839 and was called the finest house in Australia at the time.  It has a great view of Elizabeth Bay and originally had a 54 acre garden that included the area that now is a park with the ball-like fountain.  The oval entrance with its staircase and dome is still a great room with unrivaled beauty.  Back to the hotel to unpack and park the car.  We watched them filming a commercial for a new Korean car-truck vehicle in front of our hotel.  Then we walked down to the waterfront to Circular Quay which has the Opera House, Ferry Wharves and numerous restaurants and stores.  Had dinner at a chinese restaurant with a great view of Sydney bridge at sunset.  Note the little dots on top of the bridge are actually people walking up there.
